Product description

SAXXX Touring Sport - a trekking bike you will love!

The cost-effective entry into the world of e-trekking bikes - the Saxxx Touring Sport.

The bike has a lot to offer not only in terms of appearance, but its technical specifications also speak for themselves:

The aluminium trekking frame with a 250W rear motor and 374 Wh battery will take you safely through uneven terrain. The SR Suntour suspension fork absorbs vibrations and lets you ride as if on clouds. The puncture-resistant tyres provide additional security for your off-road excursions.

With the Shimano Tourney 7-speed gear system, you can adjust the bike to all changes during your ride. Incline gradients are no longer a problem. The riding position on a trekking bike is moderate to sporty, ensuring good power transmission to the bike. This makes every ride on the trekking bike an extraordinary pleasure!

Do you want to cover longer distances? Do you want to enjoy full riding comfort in the city as well as on uneven surfaces? And would you also like to be able to carry your work bag and/or luggage? Then we recommend a trekking bike. The SAXXX Touring Sport is always ready to go! Stash your gear on the luggage rack, take a seat, and start your next tour carefree on the comfortable saddle!

Uphill or downhill, quiet roads, field paths, or trails: this trekking bike can handle almost any terrain.

The bike is equipped with front and rear lighting. Thanks to the complete StVZO equipment (German road traffic licensing regulations), trekking bikes are the best combination of everyday usability and sporty handling characteristics.

All bikes, whether e-city bike, e-folding bike, e-trekking bike, or e-mountain bike, meet the traditional standards of SFM-Bikes, combined with modern technology.

The SAXXX Touring Sport is available in three great colour combinations. With its colour-coordinated components, the trekking bike from SAXXX looks particularly elegant and sporty.

Frequently asked questions

All questions
Which driving licence do I need for an electric scooter?

That depends on the scooter. For an electric scooter with 45 km/h you need class AM, which is already included in your car driving licence. Faster electric scooters with at most 11 kW output are light motorcycles. This includes all our scooters that go faster than 45 km/h, including models with more than 100 km/h. For them you need class A1 or code B196 on your car driving licence. Only above 11 kW output do you need class A2 or A. The vehicle class of your model is stated in the vehicle document (COC).

Can I ride an electric scooter without a driving licence?

For scooters with a seat up to 25 km/h you do not need a driving licence, but a moped test certificate from the age of 15. If you already have a driving licence of any class, that is enough. Our scooters with 45 km/h and more always require a driving licence.

Is there a subsidy for electric scooters?

There is no nationwide purchase bonus in Germany; the electric car subsidy only applies to cars. However, some cities and municipal utilities subsidise the purchase. Ask your city or local utility before buying, because the application usually has to be made in advance.

Can I lease an electric scooter through my employer?

Yes, with jobroller. Your employer leases the scooter and provides it to you. Your employer deducts the instalment from your gross salary. First ask your employer whether they take part in jobroller. You can calculate your instalment with the jobroller leasing calculator.

Can I charge the battery at home?

That depends on the model. On most of our scooters you remove the battery and charge it at home. Then you do not need a garage or a socket at your parking space. Some models have a permanently installed battery. You charge these scooters directly on the vehicle, so you need a socket near your parking space. Whether the battery is removable is stated in the technical data for each model.

How does my vehicle get to me?

We deliver scooters and E-Bikes insured by freight carrier. The freight carrier calls you beforehand and arranges the delivery date with you. That is why we need your phone number when you order. Within Germany, delivery takes about 5 to 10 working days. Your vehicle arrives about 95 percent assembled. On a scooter, you only fit small parts such as the mirrors. On an E-Bike, you only fit the pedals and straighten the handlebar. We recommend having the vehicle checked by a specialist workshop before the first ride.

How much does shipping cost?

Within Germany, shipping costs 9.95 euros for spare parts and accessories, 59 euros for an E-Bike and 99 euros for a scooter. To Austria it is 19.95 euros, 69 euros and 179 euros.

Can I return my vehicle?

Yes. When you buy online, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from delivery, including for vehicles. You bear the cost of the return. For vehicles that go back by freight carrier, this is at most about 99 euros. Everything else is set out in our withdrawal instructions.

Do I need a driving licence for an E-Bike?

No. Our E-Bikes assist you while pedalling up to 25 km/h and have a 250 watt motor. Legally, they count as bicycles, without a driving licence, insurance or compulsory helmet. A helmet still makes sense.

Can I lease an E-Bike?

Through your employer, with jobroller. You can find out how it works on our page Leasing.
